Holly Rose Morgan also known as morganmade, is a ceramic artist based in Te Matau a Māui. In 2024 she has been doing extensive research overseas submerging herself in ancient pottery techniques and culture, drawing inspiration from the Japanese wood fired techniques and Korean onggi pottery. Holly has been pushing traditional techniques, and asks herself how we consume and use ceramics in a  modern context.

Recently she has been exhibiting two years worth of work at Hastings City Art Gallery 'Burning Ground'. In 2026 she will embark on a 3 month residency at Faenza's International Museum of Ceramics Programme in Italy.

Her work extends into conceptual exhibitions and she has had her work selected in national ceramic award shows.
